Kuya Mon
His name is taken from the wisest king on earth, Solomon, and I must say he somehow lives up to his name. Compared to Kuya Willy, he is a little shorter but he is bestowed with other talents. Kuya Mon is also diligent in farm works but he excels better in jobs that require higher order of thinking.
During my growing up years sometime in late 70s up to early 80s, it was the best bonding time for my Zulueta cousins. Almost every weekend we hang out together visiting all aunties. During this time Kuya Mon and Kuya Jun made a very good tandem of stand-up comedians without props. They made up funny comments about the situations and make us all laugh oftentimes bringing tears to some of our aunts’ eyes because of laughing too much. The funniest things they would come up with was the impersonations of our mothers, the seven sisters. Those were the good old days I will never forget.
